Card of Crows

Card of Crows is a deckbuilder with personality. You lead a murder of crows through a series of encounters, and each bird you recruit adds cards with their own quirks — some are cowardly, some reckless. Building a deck around their temperaments is half the fun.

Runs are short and different each time thanks to a decent variety of events and enemy layouts. We had a few runs fall apart early and a few where everything came together beautifully; that swing is the deckbuilder itch working as intended.

The card art is scratchy and charming, and the whole thing runs offline, which we love for travel. It's not reinventing the genre, but it's a polished, cozy take that plays well in short bursts.
